“My mother never said how hard she worked.”

Amy figured it out in bits and pieces – the sacrifices her family made to send her to Canada in 2010 and help support her, financially and emotionally, while she made a life for herself here.

That’s how Amy knows how important it is to help others, which is exactly why she is so taken by the core purpose of Sandhu Wealth:  Because there is nothing better in the world than helping someone achieve something.

Amy started her financial services career in retail banking with one of the Canadian Big Five.  She moved to private banking with high-net-worth clients and enjoyed the relationships that come from helping people in a deeper and longer-term way – with some clients, practically becoming part of the family.  The closeness that Harp enjoys with his clients, and a chance to be part of that as an Investment Associate, was a key factor in Amy’s decision to move from Calgary to Victoria in 2021.

Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Studies from Western University, a Master of Finance from Queen’s University, and is licensed through the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).  She is originally from Chongqing, a bustling Chinese metropolis with a population of over 30 million and a reputation for spicy food, which Amy still loves – along with karaoke, hiking and yoga.

Her given name, Xiaoxue, is rather difficult for Canadians to pronounce, so she changed it to Amy – to help them.
